COLUMBUS, Ohio — The talent on this Ohio State football team has kept it from playing in a close game this season. It’s probably the only question unanswered about this team is how it will respond if a game is close going into the fourth quarter. It’s had a few moments such as when Chris Chugunov replaced Justin Fields for a series when his helmet came off in a 10-0 game against Wisconsin. Or more recently when Chase Young served a two-game suspension for a minor NCAA violation. But both of those situations were low risk, high reward. Chugunov took one snap before Fields returned and his pass ended in an incompletion. Ohio State won that game 38-7.
