Ohio State football names 23 players as champions from win over Rutgers


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football announced its full list of champions from its 56-21 win over Rutgers on Saturday and the list includes 22 players. While Justin Fields, Dallas Gant, Binjimen Victor and Shaun Wade were acknowledged as players of the game 19 others were acknowledged as well. Offensive Champions: J.K. Dobbins, Master Teague, Luke Farrell, Jeremy Ruckert, Rashod Berry, K.J. Hill, Chris Olave, Thayer Munford, Jonah Jackson, Wyatt Davis, Branden Bowen, Gavin Cupp and Nicholas Petit-Frere. Defensive Champions: DaVon Hamilton, Tyler Friday, Zach Harrison, Tuf Borland, Jeff Okudah and Malik Harrison. Offensively Ohio State put up 594 yards led by Justin Fields’ first 300-yard passing game of his career. Chris Olave joined Fields’ career day with the Buckeyes’ first 100-yard receiving game this season with 139 yards on four catches. J.K.
