COLUMBUS, Ohio – Penn State football’s loss at Minnesota two weeks ago knocked the Nittany Lions out of the top four of the College Football Playoff rankings. It did not, however, knock them out of contention for a Big Ten championship. Penn State enters Saturday’s game at Ohio Stadium with a chance to spoil Ohio State’s perfect season and take the lead in the East Division race with one game remaining. The Buckeyes have won six of the last seven meetings in this series. The one Penn State victory in that span, in 2016, sent the Nittany Lions to the Big Ten championship game but did not prevent Ohio State from making the playoff and ultimately winning the national championship.
