Big Ten power rankings: Michigan's locked in, with an eye on Ohio State


As FOX’s Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt laid it on thick during Saturday’s blowout win over Michigan State, they couldn’t help to peek ahead. Does Jim Harbaugh finally have a Michigan team capable of knocking off Ohio State? It’s a tall order, considering the Buckeyes haven’t even been challenged through 10 games, but the Wolverines are trending in the right direction. RUTGERS (2-8, 0-7) Nobody had scored a first-quarter touchdown on Ohio State until the Scarlet Knights. And that obliterated the over/under oddsmakers had set for Rutgers’ first-half point total (2.5). And losing by only 35 points to Ohio State (56-21) is quite the moral victory for this program, which had been shut out by the Buckeyes…
