The race toward the College Football Playoff continued to heat up in Week 12 after we saw a bit of a shakeup near the top of the CFP Rankings early last week. All of the teams firmly in contention were in action this weekend as they all looked to either secure their positioning or even improve their status here in mid-November. No. 4 Georgia certainly did well enough to secure its position as the final team in the field with a 21-14 victory on the road over No. 12 Auburn in the latest edition of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.
