Can Ohio State football get its second shutout while its offense cleans up the passing attack: Game-Time Decisions


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is going to win by a large margin when it faces Rutgers, but there are still some things that it can challenge itself to accomplish on Saturday. Head coach Ryan Day stated that he’d like to see a more efficient passing attack against the Scarlet Knights. Since quarterback Justin Fields and the starting offensive line will probably only play the first half expect the Buckeye show the same level of aggression it did against Maryland. Fields matched his season-high of 25 passing attempts in the first half of that game. Expect him to be around that number against Rutgers. J.K. Dobbins has already shown that the running game can be dominant when it needs to be, so there’s no reason to waste his body by running more than necessary.
