CLEVELAND, Ohio – No. 1 LSU now has more wins over ranked opponents than any other college football playoff contender, but the schedules provide opportunities for Ohio State and others to catch up. The LSU Tigers have beaten four teams currently ranked in the college football committee’s top 25 – No. 5 Alabama, No. 11 Florida, No. 12 Auburn and No. 19 Texas. No. 2 Ohio State has just two such wins, against No. 14 Wisconsin and No. 17 Cincinnati. But the Buckeyes still have scheduled games against No. 9 Penn State and No. 15 Michigan.
