COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has scored 70-plus points twice this season, once again Miami (OH) and again against Maryland. Unless your name is Nathan Baird then you probably think that the Buckeyes will reach that number for a third time when it faces Rutgers on Saturday. They’re going to score at will even with the starters only playing the first 30 minutes. The question is will Ohio State football team be able to put up more points than the basketball team did in its win over Villanova on Wednesday night. This also may be the last opportunity that some of the Buckeyes younger players and non-starters ton get extended playing time. Next week they’ll get back to playing teams that will provide a real challenge.
