COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball head coach Chris Holtmann has a knack for tempering expectations. He did that for much of the non-conference schedule last season, and after a 76-51 win over No. 10 Villanova, he once again found a way to tell everyone to calm down without actually saying those words. “Probably two or three times have I ever been a part of a game, as a head coach, where almost everything goes your way,” Holtmann said after the 16th-ranked Buckeyes’ romp. “Very rarely do you have games like that. The players made plays, but obviously, we were in a very good rhythm. For us, how do we continue to grow moving forward is my biggest challenge for us and how to we respond when things do always go our way.” He wasn’t wrong last season when he said they’d find out good they were when January hit.…
