COLUMBUS, Ohio — With the way the season is playing out, there is a chance that Ohio State football could be facing its former backup quarterback Joe Burrow in the National Championship game. Burrow chose to transfer to LSU after losing out to Dwayne Haskins for the starting job in 2018 and has carved out a nice career with the Tigers. Last season he led LSU to a 10-3 record and a win in the Fiesta Bowl. This season he as LSU ranked as the No. 1 team in the country and is the leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy. His 2019 resume includes wins over Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Texas. Each of which was ranked in the top 10 when they faced the Tigers.
