LSU The New No. 1 in CFP Playoff Rankings, Ohio State Falls to No. 2

The LSU football team moved up to the top spot in the newest College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday night. The Tigers, ranked No. 2 in last week’s initial 2019 rankings, beat previous No. 3 Alabama, 46-41, in Tuscaloosa. LSU (9-0) leapfrogged Ohio State (9-0) for the top spot. The Buckeyes fell to No. 2, and Clemson moved up two spots to No.3 after crushing North Carolina State last Saturday.
