COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s freshman wide receiver has only spoken to the media once since he’s enrolled in January as a five-star recruit out of Texas. Since that initial interview, he’s quickly built a reputation as one of the Buckeyes’ more electric players on offense. It started with a four-catch, 44-yard performance in the spring game and has turned into 18 catches for 216 yards and four touchdowns through nine games. He’s had a limited role in all but two games this season, Miami (OH) and Maryland. But in both of those games, he showed how elite of a playmaker he can be. The outcome of Both games was decided by halftime giving him — along with many other players on Ohio State second unit — extended opportunities to showcase themselves.
