Ohio State football 2020 RB target Jaylan Knighton decommits from Florida State


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jaylan Knighton of Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High School of has announced that he has decided to reopen his recruitment. The four-star recruit was one Ohio State’s three running back targets over the summer but ultimately chose to stay in his home state by choosing Florida State. Now with the recent firing of Seminoles’ head coach Willie Taggart, Knighton will weigh his options Knighton is rated as the No. 100 overall player and the No. 10 all-purpose back in the 2020 class. The Buckeyes are still in need of a running back to add to their fourth-ranked class in the country. Knighton’s decommitment adds him to their list of possible additions along with Kevontre Bradford of Lancaster (Texas) High School.
