COLUMBUS, Ohio — In its only exhibition game before the regular season, Ohio State basketball took down Cedarville on Wednesday in a convincing 95-52 win. A win is great, but that isn’t why a Power Five school would schedule a game against a Division II opponent seven days before the start of the regular season. This game gave five newcomers their first taste of what it’s like to play in the Schottenstein Center. It also gave the Buckeyes a chance to play against someone other than each other.
