The Ohio State Buckeyes landed a big recruit with a name familiar to football fans across the country. Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the son of longtime Indianapolis Colt and Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison, committed to the Buckeyes on Thursday with an announcement made on his Twitter profile. Harrison Jr. is from St. Joseph’s Prep School in Philadelphia, and according to his ESPN profile, is 6-foot-4 and 174 pounds. ESPN lists him as a four-star recruit and the 87th-ranked player out of the class of 2021 in the publication’s ESPN 300, which ranks the top 300 players in the country. Harrison played 13 seasons in the NFL from 1996-2008, all with the Colts, and compiled 1,102 receptions for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns.
