COLUMBUS, Ohio — In its only exhibition game before the regular season, Ohio State basketball took down Cedarville in a convincing 95-52 win. A win is great, but that isn’t why a Power Five school would schedule a game against a Division II school seven days before the start of the regular season. This game gave five newcomers their first taste of what it’s like to play in the Schottenstein Center. It also gave the Buckeyes a chance to play against someone other than each other in an environment they’ll play in 15 times this season.
