COLUMBUS, Ohio — When Lejond Cavazos of IMG Academy (Fla.) initially committed to Ohio State football in June of 2018, he did so with the idea that he’d be playing for Urban Meyer and Taver Johnson. His father, C.J., had a 30-year friendship with Meyer that made the decision to commit an easy one. It was a childhood dream to play for the legendary coach.
