His team is unbeaten and about to face the first serious challenge to its College Football Playoff credentials, so Ohio State coach Ryan Day’s stress level should be rising in tandem with the anticipation for the No. 3 Buckeyes’ noon kickoff against No. 13 Wisconsin Saturday in Ohio Stadium. Instead, Day’s stress is already red-lining. It’s not that he lacks confidence, or that there’s been some depressing development in the OSU camp. This is the normal roller-coaster Day rides while getting his team ready. “I feel the stress earlier in the week,” Day said. “I know the decisions that have to be made, the plays, execution, installation, what we practice, all those things are critical to how well we play on Saturday.” His worries, however real they seemed through the season’s first seven games, turned out to be imagined.
