WASHINGTON, D.C. – When the San Francisco 49ers offense struggled on Sunday, the Nick Bosa-led defense stepped up. Bosa, the former Ohio State football star, recorded a team-high seven tackles, including a sack, and the 49ers shut out Washington 9-0 to remain undefeated. San Francisco is 6-0 for the first time since 1990, and Bosa is a big reason why. The rookie has recorded 16 tackles with four sacks and a forced fumble. The 12th overall pick in the most recent NFL Draft was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week two weeks ago for recording four tackles and a pair of sacks against the Browns.
