EVANSTON, Illinois — Ohio State arrived at Ryan Field as a national power with a fairly new coach who still hadn’t lost while running the Buckeyes. Northwestern embraced the opportunity and fought for four quarters to show it belonged. That was six years ago, when the Buckeyes visited the Wildcats on Oct. 5, 2013, for a primetime battle billed as the biggest game in Northwestern history.
