XFL rosters will take real shape this week, with a rapid-fire two-day draft that begins today. But the first step was for the league to assign each of its eight teams a quarterback, and one of those is former Ohio State star Cardale Jones. Jones was a fourth-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2016 who hasn’t been able to stick in the NFL. He most recently was cut by the San Diego Chargers in August, signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad and then was released a few weeks later. Jones has been assigned to the DC Defenders.
