COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has gone as high as No. 3 in the Associated Poll Top 25 rankings this year. The Buckeyes were tied with Georgia in the poll going into their bye week. But the combination of the Bulldogs’ loss, Alabama’s and LSU’s continued dominance and Clemson finally looking like the reigning national champions has dropped Ohio State back down to No. 4. The only argument against the Buckeyes is the level of competition they’ve played this season in comparison to the other teams in serious contention for a College Football Playoff spot. But Ohio State is playing like the No. 1 team in the country in all three facets of the game this season.
