Ryan Watts, 4-star 2020 cornerback, commits to Ohio State football: Buckeyes recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ryan Watts of Little Elm (Texas) High School has become Ohio State football’s 24th commitment of its 2020 recruiting class. Watts joins Clark Phillips III as cornerbacks in the Buckeyes’ class. His commitment comes after taking an official visit to Columbus on September 20. He also attended the Buckeyes’ 76-5 win over Miami (OH) that Saturday. Following his visit, Watts decommitted from Oklahoma on October 2 and chose Ohio State a week later. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Texas native is rated as the No. 258 overall player and No. 19 cornerback in the class. He held 35 total offers and also took official visits to Alabama and Oklahoma.
