COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football exceeded national expectations — and plenty of local ones, too — with the methodical, complete and impressive way it opened the season 6-0. The Buckeyes’ story thus far is one of redemption as much as achievement. Seemingly every starter on both sides of the ball had something to prove when the season opener. Seemingly each of them has done so — some to a dramatic extent — while rising to a tie for No. 3 in the Associated Press poll.
