EVANSTON, Ill. — Visiting the campus of Northwestern University is a rare treat for Ohio State football fans. The Buckeyes’ last visit to Evanston was six years ago in a game the Buckeyes won 40-30. OSU will play at the Wildcats’ Ryan Field again on Oct. 18. The game is on a Friday night — another rarity for Buckeyes football — but traveling fans might want to arrive at least a few hours early to explore the lovely campus before nightfall.
