How Ohio State football’s offensive line buckled, then broke out, against Michigan State


COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football’s offensive line had been a near-constant strength through five victories to open the season. That aura of security disintegrated quickly Saturday night against Michigan State. The Spartans’ active, physical defensive front tore through the OSU line repeatedly on Saturday’s early possessions. An offense that had blown through the first five opponents in the ground and on the air looked lost at times in the first quarter. According to senior right tackle Branden Bowen, the Buckeyes were not fully prepared for what Michigan State threw at them.
