Why this Ohio State football season doesn’t fit the Michigan State upset model


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Michigan State struggled to deal with Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. last week, as the redshirt freshman threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns and conducted a game-tying touchdown drive that knotted the score with two minutes to play before the Spartans prevailed 40-31.
