Jacolbe Cowan, 4-star 2020 defensive tackle, commits to Ohio State football: Buckeyes recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has added the 23rd commitment to its 2020 recruiting class as four-star defensive tackle Jacolbe Cowan of Providence (N.C.) Day School announced for the Buckeyes on Friday night after his game. Cowan, who is 6-foot-5, 277 pounds, is the No. 15 defensive tackle and the No. 163 overall player in the class. He chose the Buckeyes over 37 other schools including Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon and Tennessee. He joins Darrion Henry of Princeton (Ohio) High School and Ty Hamilton of Pickerington Central (Ohio) High School as defensive linemen in the class. He is the 13th player to commit to the Buckeyes after taking an official visit in June.
