How could Ohio State football’s depth chart change against Michigan State on Saturday?


COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football expects to take its usual starting offensive line into Saturday’s home game against Michigan State on Saturday. Branden Bowen remains listed as the starting right tackle on the depth chart the Buckeyes released Friday morning. Bowen was a game-time decision last week but did not play. Joshua Alabi started in his place and was later named Ohio State’s offensive player of the week. Alabi is again listed as the backup to left tackle Thayer Munford on the depth chart. Nicholas Petit-Frere is listed as the backup at right tackle. Tyreke Smith is listed as the backup to Jonathon Cooper at one defensive end upon his return to active status. The sophomore from Cleveland has played in only two games due to various injuries.
