Can Ohio State football’s offensive line protect Justin Fields as he looks to continue efficient play against Spartans: Game-Time Decisions


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Justin Fields has yet to throw an interception as the quarterback of the Ohio State football team. He hasn’t thrown one since his senior year of high school. That impressive streak could come to an end against Michigan State. The Spartans are tied for second — along with Illinois, Nebraska and the Buckeyes — in the Big Ten in turnovers caused this season. Fields’ ability to take continue to care of the football may be the defining factor in this game. That may come as a result of protection from his offensive line. Michigan State trails only Ohio State (24 ) in total sacks this season with 16. But Fields has also been sacked nine times already this season, including a season-high three times against Nebraska.
