COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s homecoming game is Saturday night against Michigan State. And while the game will bring alums from all over, it’s also a return to the Buckeye State for numerous Michigan State players. Among them are the Dowell brothers in David, a redshirt senior, and Michael, a redshirt freshman. The two played at St. Edward along with fellow brother Andrew, who graduated after last season. And they will have plenty of family and friends in attendance on Saturday night, making it a special night for them. “I’ve played high school games down there at Ohio State,” David said. “Knowing that it’s my home state, it will definitely be special.
