COLUMBUS, Ohio — Michigan State will be the first Big Ten football team that Ohio State football plays at home this season. The household names on the undefeated Buckeyes have played at an elite level all season. But the second of three straight night games may provide an opportunity for some other players to shine. The Miami game gave the younger guys on the roster a chance to get extended playing time and show OSU fans the future. Michigan State could provide some of Ohio State’s starters or rotation players who haven’t emerged yet — whether because of injuries or just lack of opportunity — a chance to do so.
