Michigan State faces ferocious Ohio State defense, led by top NFL prospect Chase Young

Graham Couch and Chris Solari, Detroit Free Press EAST LANSING — When No. 23 Michigan State football walks into Ohio Stadium on Saturday night to face No. 5 Ohio State, it will have to contend with one of the nation’s best defenses.  Though improved from a season ago, the Spartans’ offense ranks 71st in the country out of 130, averaging 414 yards per game. The Buckeyes are No. 2 in total defense.  And they have Chase Young. The latest in the long line of standout Buckeye defensive ends, the 6-foot-5, 265-pound Young is widely expected to be the first non-quarterback off the board in the 2020 NFL draft.
