COLUMBUS, Ohio — Michigan State will be the first Big Ten team that Ohio State football plays at home this season. The house-hold names on the undefeated Buckeyes have played at an elite level all season. But the second of three-straight night games may provide an opportunity for some other players to shine. The Miami (OH) game gave the younger guys on the roster a chance to get extended playing time and show OSU fans the future. Michigan State could provide some of Ohio State’s starters or rotation players who haven’t emerged yet — whether because of injuries or just lack of opportunity — a chance to do so.
