Michigan State is expected to give Ohio State a closer game than the Buckeyes’ last four opponents have. But that isn’t saying a lot. The Spartans opened on Sunday as a 17-point underdog to Ohio State, according to Vegas Insider. The Spartans and Buckeyes play on Saturday in Columbus. By late afternoon, that line had moved to minus-22 for Ohio State Ohio State (5-0) has beat each of its last four opponents by 40-plus points. Most recently, the Buckeyes beat Nebraska in Lincoln, 48-7, on Saturday night behind the strong play of quarterback Justin Fields. Michigan State (4-1), meanwhile, has won two straight to open Big Ten play. It topped Indiana on Saturday night thanks to a field goal in the final minute.
