How much better will Justin Fields be in week two than week one for Ohio State?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — In his first game as a starting quarterback Justin Fields had 234 yards and four touchdowns on 18-25 passing along with 61 rushing yards and a score. He looked at those numbers and watched the game film and felt that was a pretty solid afternoon.In reality he’s not wrong about that. For most quarterbacks that’s a good game, especially given that he tied a Heisman finalist from last season in Dwayne Haskins for most touchdowns for an Ohio State quarterback’s debut. “I think I could’ve scored one more touchdown,” Fields said. “I didn’t know if that was the record so if I would’ve known that was the record I probably would’ve tried to score one more.” Yet there are still some things that he can improve on and some of those could come as early as week two.
