Should Master Teague take some of J.K. Dobbins’ carries at running back for Ohio State football?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Running back J.K. Dobbins ran the ball 21 times in Ohio State’s 45-21 win over Florida Atlantic. Those 21 rushing attempts produced 91 yards and a touchdown on 4.3 yards per carry. That was nowhere near the mark he was at as a freshman while also falling bellow his mark from last season. The Buckeyes will need him to be better as he is still their lead back. But Master Teague showed that he is more than capable of having a role in the offense. Teague was limited for most of the offseason while dealing with injuries, but against the Owls, he ran for 49 yards on eight carries including a 21-yard run. That was the longest run by any running back on Saturday. His 6.1 yards per carry were second to just Marcus Crowley’s 6.8, who ran the ball four times for 27 yards.…
