COLUMBUS, Ohio — The last time Ohio State saw Lane Kiffin five years ago, Vonn Bell was intercepting Alabama quarterback Blake Sims in the red zone to repel a Crimson Tide fourth-quarter attempt to take the lead in a College Football Playoff semifinal. “The safety made a great play,” Kiffin said in a phone call recently. “Actually, if (Sims) goes to his second read, he’s running wide open for a touchdown down the slot.
