COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football’s non-conference schedules are complete through the next five seasons after Thursday’s announcement that the Buckeyes will play Arkansas State in 2022 and San Jose State and Western Kentucky in 2023. Arkansas State will visit Ohio Stadium on Sept. 10, 2022. Ohio State also plays Notre Dame (Sept. 3) and Toledo (Sept. 17) on that non-conference home schedule. Ohio State opens the 2023 season at Indiana on Sept. 2. It will then play host to San Jose State on Sept. 9 and Western Kentucky on Sept. 16 before traveling to Notre Dame on Sept. 23. The additions generally keep with the recent approach of Buckeyes’ scheduling, with one upper-tier opponent, one middle tier and one lower tier.
