COLUMBUS, Ohio — Along with naming Justin Fields as the starting quarterback, head coach Ryan Day on Monday also announced Ohio State’s captains for the 2019 football season. This season the Buckeyes will have seven captains with Tuf Borland, Jonathon Cooper, Jordan Fuller Chase Young serving as the defensive captains while J.K. Dobbins, K.J. Hill and C.J. Saunders serve as the offensive captains. “Being voted a captain by your teammates it just says a lot,” Fuller said of the honor. “I know it comes with a huge responsibility, but I definitely want to uphold that.” Fuller has played in 39 games in his career and is coming off of a season where he led the Buckeyes with 81 total tackles.
