Steele Chambers, Noah Potter become latest Ohio State freshmen to lose their black stripes: Buckeyes football news


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2019 freshmen recruiting class now has 10 players who have lost their black stripes. Running back Steele Chambers and defensive end Noah Potter became the latest to lose theirs on Thursday, signifying that they have officially become Buckeyes. Both players were four-star prospects in the 2019 recruiting class. Potter played his high school football at Mentor along with fellow freshman Ryan Jacoby, who lost his black stripe on Monday. Chambers is the second running back in the class to get his stripe off with Marcus Crowley being the first. In addition to those four, Garrett Wilson, Zach Harrison, Jameson Williams, Harry Miller, Cade Stover and Bryson Shaw have all lost their black stripes.
