Ohio State and Oklahoma share quarterback dilemmas: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State and Oklahoma both brought in transfers from a Power Five program expected to be their starting quarterbacks this season. Yet neither Ryan Day or Lincoln Riley have felt comfortable enough to name their new QB as the starter after two weeks of camp. For the Buckeyes Justin Fields is a former five-star recruit who transferred after losing out to Jake Fromm at Georgia. The Sooners got former Alabama starter Jalen Hurts after he lost his starting job to Tua Tagovailoa. The Buckeyes went through their first scrimmage this past Saturday which marked the end of the first two weeks of camp — which Day said would be an ideal time to name a starter.
