Ohio State discussed 'playing as many as two' games at St. John

The Ohio State men’s basketball team had another successful season last year, going 20-15 and making it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive postseason. But perhaps the moment of the season that anyone involved in the Buckeye program will look back on with the fondest memories are from the Nov. 23 game against Cleveland State. While the Scarlet and Gray won the game 89-62, the excitement wasn’t so much about the result on the court but rather where the game took place. Ohio State played this contest at the team’s old venue just down Lane Ave., St. John Arena, with an 80s night that featured music from the decade and throwback uniforms in an event that helped kick off Michigan weekend.
