COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class has four commitments so far, and the only one not from Ohio is quarterback Kyle McCord of St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia. Like its 2020 class, OSU’s 2021 class is rated No. 3 in the country and No. 1 in the Big Ten. 247Sports.com updated its rankings for the class, with three of its commitments in the top 100. Defensive end Jack Sawyer of Pickerington North headlines the class, staying put at No. 3. Its most recent commit offensive lineman Ben Christman of Revere High School moved up to No. 24 from No. 44, while McCord moved down from No. 38 to No. 94. He is also the No. 5 pro-style quarterback.
