COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State has landed another 2020 commitment from its Buckeye Bash and Barbecue weekend in the form of linebacker Kourt Williams of St. John Bosco (Calif.) High School. He made his announcement Wednesday afternoon through a YouTube video. The four-star recruit is rated as the No. 162 overall player and the No. 12 outside linebacker in the 2020 class. He comes from the same high school as current Ohio State offensive lineman Wyatt Davis. At 6-foot-1, 218 pounds, Williams may be a perfect fit for the Buckeyes’ new bullet position. The position — which is expected to be manned by Brendon White this season — has been described as a linebacker-safety hybrid. The position is similar to Michigan’s viper.
