The Basketball Tournament is just over a month away. The single-elimination tournament, which features both current and former professional players in a $2 million, winner take all competition, will begin its sixth iteration on July 19. On June 11, the TBT announced the full bracket for the 2019 version of the tournament, which will include two teams featuring former Ohio State players. Carmen’s Crew, formerly Scarlet & Gray before the university announced they could no longer use that name, will be in the TBT for the third time, while Big X competes for the second consecutive summer. Last week, ESPN’s Carmine Carcieri ranked all 64 teams in from top to bottom. Four-time champion Overseas Elite is the best team in the field according to Carcieri, as the group looks to win its fifth straight title. Carmen’s Crew checks in at seventh in Carcieri’s list.
