COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State has received its second defensive commitment for the 2020 football recruiting class in Ty Hamilton of Pickerington Central (Ohio) High School. The three-star recruit is rated as the No. 907 overall player and the No. 46 strongside defensive end in the class. He chose the Buckeyes over Michigan and Penn State and held 22 total offers. Hamilton — the younger brother of Ohio State defensive tackle Davon Hamilton — announced for the Buckeyes less than two weeks after earning an offer at a one-day camp at OSU. He is one of eight recruits taking official visits to Ohio State this weekend. He’s scheduled to take one to Michigan next week.
