Pickerington (Ohio) Central defensive lineman Ty Hamilton landed an offer from the Buckeyes in late May. The offer came when Hamilton stopped at Ohio State to talk to Buckeye defensive line coach Larry Johnson. Hamilton was back at Ohio State on Saturday for his official visit with the Buckeyes and has committed to Ohio State. “I talked to my parents thoroughly and just looking at the three schools overwhelmingly Ohio State has the best academics, best football and best defensive line coach,” Hamilton said. “After my official visit the decision was pretty easy. It feels good. I can concentrate on my high school and my teammates now. I’m all done with my visits.” Hamilton has narrowed down his list of scholarship offers to three schools.
