COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State already has its quarterbacks lined up for its 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes in Jack Miller and Kyle McCord, respectively. But Ryan Day and his staff are already beginning their search for the quarterback to be part of its 2022 class. Following Saturday’s camp, the Buckeyes offered Bergen Catholic (N.J.) sophomore Steve Angeli. He is not yet ranked by 247Sports.com, but got a few reps on the varsity team as a true freshman last season. Angeli, who is 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, is the third quarterback in the 2022 class that the Buckeyes have offered. The other two are Quinn Ewers from Southlake Carroll in Texas, and Maalik Murphy from Junipero Serra in California. The Buckeyes also offered multiple prospects in the 2021 class on Saturday.
