Michigan State just landed its kicker for the future. Jack Olsen, a 2020 placekicker from Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Illinois, announced his commitment to the Spartans on Saturday via Twitter. He was on campus on Saturday for Michigan State’s invite-only camp. Olsen, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, doesn’t have a 247Sports Composite rating but is listed as a five-star recruit by Chris Sailer Kicking and the No. 3 kicker in the 2020 class. He was 22-for-32 on field goals last year and set Illinois state records in field goals made in a season and in a game, with eight. The commitment from Olsen came just a little more than a week after he picked up an offer from Michigan State. Olsen’s other offers included Indiana, Army and Yale.
